Secure Vantage Technologies releases update to their Security Management packs for System Center Operations Manager
LONGMONT, Colo. - March 4th, 2009 - Today Secure Vantage Technologies Inc. announces general availability of Service Pack 1 for their Windows Security Management pack solutions built on System Center Operations Manager. This update provides significant enhancements to the Security Management packs’ overall functionality, supported auditing scenarios and security operational features. In addition to more security auditing rules for Active Directory and Group Policy, the solution also includes light auditing reports, new templates to automate custom auditing implementation and full installation support on Windows Server 2008.
Out of the box, the Security Management packs for System Center Operations Manager include over 400 auditing controls with dozens of audit templates and reports for Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2008. This provides System Center users a foundation of security controls and reports to support enterprise Risk, Governance and Compliance (eGRC) initiatives and regulatory auditing requirements such as FISMA, HIPAA, ISO 27000, NERC, PCI, and SOX.
