Secure Vantage Technologies adds Compliance Monitoring to System Center Configuration Manager

Value-add solutions allow customers to maintain constant watch over application configurations to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policy requirements

Longmont, CO — November 12th , 2007 — Secure Vantage Technologies, Inc. announces the availability of extended compliance solutions for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007.  Secure Vantage integrates with the new Desired Configuration Management feature in System Center Configuration Manager to provide Compliance Auditing and Reporting Packs for regulation specific auditing of Windows Server, Windows clients and a range of Microsoft applications. These packs are easily added to System Center Configuration Manager to provide companies with high levels of reporting and visibility into regulatory controls. This new library of solutions complements the range of Secure Vantage Technology’s solutions already available for System Center Operations Manager 2007, providing customers with a consistent security and compliance monitoring suite for use across the System Center range.

Included in this first release are advanced compliance monitoring and reporting solutions for Windows Server 2003, Windows  XP and Windows Vista clients, and Application Auditing Packs for Forefront Server and Edge products, Host Integration Server, and Office Project Server.  Additionally Secure Vantage is launching a DCM Resource Kit, comprising a number of Windows PowerShell-based tools to automate repetitive tasks and ease administration.  These include a DCM Category Updater, an Import Configuration Items to Folder tool and a Mass Delete Configuration Items function.
