MOM MVPs Launch Bootcamp featuring System Controls MP

BERTHOUD,  CO .- 3/13/06 - MOM MVPs Rory McCaw and Gordon McKenna have partnered together to deliver a MOM BootCamp training course delivered Internationally. This course will include a dedicated chapter for the Secure Vantage System Controls MP demonstrating the Security Management capabilities of MOM. Both MVPs have provided training and consulting services for Windows Technology for years, focusing on Microsoft Management Solutions and supporting the growth of these technologies through their customers and in the community. After delivering a MOM 2005 book both MVPs saw a need and opportunity to deliver a training course designed to provide administrators with the essential skills they need to manage a MOM infrastruture. As security auditing and reporting are a critical need for all customers and both MVPs have experience implementing our solutions in the field; they have championed the product and intend to train attendees on the features and capabilities of the System Controls MP for Windows Server Security auditing and reporting.

The MOM BootCamp kicks off the first week of May in Irvine, California. Customers can reserve training classes through Secure Vantage or go directly to the BootCamp home page. The System Controls MP is featured as Chapter 14: Security Monitoring with the Secure Vantage MP. Two hours is dedicated to this chapter with one hour of lecture and one hour of labs. Customers will learn how to effectively use MOM for Windows Security auditing without compromising the infrastructure but with the ability to audit general security events for notifications, operations and reporting. The BootCamp is already scheduled through mid year 2007 providing classes in North America and around the world. Attendees will also recieve ten (10) percent discount on the Secure Vantage System Controls MP after successfully completing the course.
