The SQL Auditor MP provides auditing and reporting services for over 75 SQL Server security events in the following areas:

• Authentication
• Object Access

How does it work?

The SQL MP uses the Event Notification facility of SQL Server 2005 to queue event information for background processing after the transaction (e.g. Login or database change) has completed, allowing a robust audit to be performed with minimal impact on existing applications and workload. Queued event information is processed and delivered to Operations Manager for further operational processing and reporting.
